Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. Eph.1:3-4
In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. Eph 1:5-6
In him (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth." Eph. 1: 6-10
God’s plan is to UNITE ALL THINGS in JESUS CHRIST; all things in HEAVEN and all things ON EARTH. Eph. 1: 3-10
One day even Gehenna (Hell) will be HOLY. Jeremiah 31:40 (New International Reader's Version)
40 "There is a valley where dead bodies and ashes are thrown. That whole valley will be holy to me. (Gehenna / Hell). Jeremiah 31:40Isaiah 34 Judgment Against the Nations
The LORD will NOT be angry for ever. Is. 57:6
God, our heavenly FATHER, SPANKS His children sometimes when they sin.
The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to Sheol (Hell) and raises up. 1 Sam. 2:6
But One day every King will PRAISE the Lord.
One day all NATIONS will be blessed.
The slain of the NATIONS will be thrown out, their dead bodies will send up a stench; the mountains will be soaked with their blood. Is. 34:2
All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree. My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens; See it descends in judgment on
The sword of the LORD is bathed in blood, it is covered with fat the blood of lambs and goats, fat from the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah (The capital City of Edom) and a great slaughter in
Their land will be drenched with blood. Is 34:7
The LORD has a day of vengeance. Is 34:8,
It will not be quenched night and day; its smoke will rise forever. From generation to generation it will lie desolate; no one will ever pass through it again. Is 34: 10

“If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.” Rev 14:9-11
The language in Revelation is symbolic too.
Jesus will baptize Pharisees and Sadducees with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Matthew 3: 7&11
John the Baptist baptized Pharisees and Sadducees with WATER. Matt. 3:11
Jesus’ fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Matthew (A threat of Judgment of PURGATION from John the Baptist to the Phariseess and Sadducees.)
Jesus loves the world, he is the savior of the world, Jesus loves the Pharisees and the Sadducees as well as the notorious sinners. The wheat is the People of the Nation, the chaff is the sin of the Nation. Jesus will burn the sin away with unquenchable fire.
God used to say very similar things in the Old Testament.
Because they have forsaken me (God), and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched. 2 Kings
The fire and brimstone shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke there of shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. Is. 34:10
Sounds similar to the Book of Revelation. The words are symbolic. The fire of war was not literally to burn for ever.
Jesus refers to Isaiah 66:24 in the New Testament.
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Jesus was talking about dead bodies after a war being dumped into the burning rubbish heap or the city dump. This passage is not about the afterlife. Many passages in the old testament talk about WAR and God’s judgments in this way. Here are some more examples.
The Lord GOD says: Behold, my anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place…and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched. Jer. 7:20
God said: If you don’t keep the Sabbath Day…then will I kindle a fire in the gates there of, and it shall devour the palaces of
Is Jerusalem going to burn for eternity?
God said: Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned there in…..it won’t be quenched. Ezekiel 20:47-48
Here are some examples from the New Testament of this same kind of symbolic language.
If thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life (abundant life Jesus came to give) maimed, than having two hands to go into hell (Gehenna, the city dump), into the fire that never shall be quenched. Mark
We have seen in the Old Testament, fire that is not quenched does NOT literally BURN for ever. And most Christians don’t literally cut off their hands to avoid a Gehenna type of Judgment from God. But we should take Jesus seriously when He speaks as a prophet and warns of wrath to come; just like the Prophets in the Old Testament.
Here are some more New Testament examples.
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark
And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell (Gehenna), into the fire that never shall be quenched. Mark
Eternal in the Bible does not literally mean with out END. Here are some examples.
The sin of Samaria "is incurable" (Mic. 1:9)-until-- Lord "will restore ... the fortunes of Samaria ." (Ez. 16:53).
Ammon is to become a "wasteland forever" and "rise no more" (Zeph. 2:9, Jer. 25:27 --until--the Lord will "restore the fortunes of the Ammonites" (Jer. 49:6).
An Ammonite or Moabite is forbidden to enter the Lord's congregation "forever"-until--the tenth generation (Deut. 23:3):

Many translations of the Bible inform us that God would dwell in Solomon's Temple "forever" (1 Kings ), that is,--until the Temple was destroyed.
The children of Israel were to "observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant" (Exodus 31:16)-until--Paul states there remains "another day" of Sabbath rest for the people of God (Heb. 4:8,9).
The Law of Moses was to be an "everlasting covenant" (Olam) (Leviticus 24:8). Yet we read in the New Covenant the first was "done away" and "abolished" (2 Corinthians ,13), and God "made the first old" (Hebrews ).
The fire for Israel 's sin offering (of a ram without blemish) is never to be put out. It shall be a "perpetual"-- until-- Christ, the Lamb of God, dies for our sins. We now have a better covenant established on better promises (Lev. -13, Heb. 8:6-13).
God's waves of wrath roll over Jonah "forever"-until--the Lord delivers him from the large fish's belly on the third day (Jonah 2:6,10; 1: 17)
"Moab is destroyed" (Jer. 48:4, 42)-until--the Lord "will restore the fortunes of Moab " (Jer. 48:47).
So, narrow is the way to life and few find it-until-- and His church confiscate the "strong man's" booty, setting the captives free so God becomes all in all (Isa. 61, Luke 11:21-22, Matt. 7:13; 16:18, 1 Cor. 15:24-28).
The King James Bible, as well as many others, tells us that a bondslave was to serve his master "forever" (Exodus 21:6), that is,--until--his death.

Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones
Ezekiel say a vision from God of a valley full of very dry human bones. Ez. 37:1-2
God asked: Can these bones live. Ezekiel answered: Oh Lord, You know. Ez 37:3God told Ezekiel to prophesy over these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.' Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the LORD.'" Ez 37: 4-7
Ezekiel prophesied like God told him too. And then there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And Ezekiel looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. Then God said: "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life."'" Ez. 37: 8-9
So Ezekiel prophesied as God commanded. And the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army. Ez. 37:10

14"I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken and done it," declares the LORD.'"

The HEBREW word translated everlasting is OWLAM. It does not literally mean everlasting. Literally it means: to the distant horizon and again. The STRONGS possible definitions follow below. Job was in the belly of the great fish OWLAM (forever in the KJV). In this case OWLAM is 3 days.

As long as a person does not trust Jesus and His message of Love and act on it, the Kingdom of God that is within can be seen or perceived by and through that person and the wrath of God stays on that person where it always is when we don’t walk in love. (Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.)

Does this mean we go to eternal hell if we don’t hate our family? Or is this symbolic, figurative language? I believe it is figurative. It means put God first.

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience… (Colossians 3:12)
God will use the elect in the ages to come to DISPLAY the immeasurable riches of HIS GRACE. Who is He going to display it too? I believe He will DISPLAY it to people, so that their SPIRIT may be saved.
In John’s highly symbolic scroll of the Apocalypse, he writes: A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.” This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus REV 14:9-12
I believe the reason the saints will NEED to be patient while the other people are experiencing God’s wrath in the Lake of Fire is: They will feel compassion for the ones who are in the consuming fire of God’s judgment. The will need to patient until the unquenchable, eternal fire does its work and removes all the dross from the silver, and all the chaff from the wheat. The furnace of fire is a good thing. God’s wrath is a painful thing. But it is a good thing. And we will remember God’s righteous judgments unto the ages of the ages because the smoke of the torment goes up forever and ever. People learn righteousness when God inflicts judgment.
The greek word here for torment is: basanismos
It means: A testing by the touchstone, which is a black siliceous stone used to test the purity of gold or silver by the color of the streak produced on it by rubbing it with either metal, to torture to torment, the state or condition of those tormented, to test.

In John’s highly symbolic, apocalyptic vision he saw: “If anyone's name was not found written in the scroll of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Rev.20:15
In John’s vision He had a message for assembly in Smyrna . And we can all learn from the principles in that message. John was talking to Christians. He said: the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested. Be faithful unto death, and I will give to you the crown of life. He who has ears to hear, listen what the Spirit says to the assemblies: He who is overcoming will not be injured by the second death (the lake of fire). Be not afraid of the things that you are about to suffer. Rev. 2:8-11
Our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:29

Christians should not act like (Gentile) people who don’t know Jesus. Eph4:17
They act according to the futility of their mind. Eph. 4:17
Their understanding is darkened being alienated from the life of God. Eph. 4:18
Because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their hearts. Eph.4:18
They are past feeling. Eph. 4:19
They have have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Eph.4:19
Christians should not act like that. Eph4:17
We should act like what we learned from Jesus. Eph. 4:20
Dear brothers and sisters, when I was with you I couldn’t talk to you as I would to spiritual people. I had to talk as though you belonged to this world or as though you were infants in the Christian life. 2 I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren’t ready for anything stronger. And you still aren’t ready, 3 for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people of the world? 4 When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just like people of the world? 1 Cor. 3:1-4 NLT
The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.1 Corinthians 2:14
Steve Jones writes: "That man who relates to life apart from a spiritual paradigm."
Some Christians are still carnal (natural-acting, un-spiritual); you can tell because there is among them envying, and strife, and divisions. That shows that they are and walk as (mere, natural, un-spiritual) men? We Christians should not act this way. 1 Cor. 3:3
On the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each Christian has done. The fire will show if the Christian’s work has any value. 14 If the work survives, that Christian will receive a reward. 15 But if the work is burned up, the Christian will suffer GREAT LOSS. The Christian will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames. 1 Cor. 3:13-15 (Or maybe a Lake of Flames )
Don’t you realize that all of you Christians together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? 17 God will destroy anyone (including Christians) who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you (Christians) are that temple. 1 Cor. 3:16
Paul is a slave of Christ Jesus, chosen by God to preach his Good News. God promised this Good News long ago through his prophets in the holy Scriptures. The Good News is about his Son, Jesus Christ. We know because He was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord. Apostles are given the privilege and authority tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name. Romans 1:1-7
I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” Romans 1:16-17 God does not want us Gentile Christians to be ignorant. Romans 1:13
The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
One day every tongue will (believe and) confess Jesus Christ is Lord. Philippians 2:11
One day all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him. Psalm
In the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith. Romans 1:17
Followers of Jesus should show their faith by how they act (what they do-“works”). James 2:18
But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. James 2:18
Christians don’t be ignorant. Romans 1:13
The wrath of God is (right now) being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Romans 1:18
You, therefore (Christians), have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning (damning “katakrino” in Greek) yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Romans 2:1
We Christians know that God's judgments are based on truth. Rom. 2:2
So when (we Christians), mere humans, pass judgment on others and yet do the same things, do you think we Christians will escape God's judgment (damnation “krima” in Greek)? Romans 2:3
Yes, dear Christians, God punishes even us. For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes those he accepts as his children. Heb. 12:6-7
God damns Christians. (Krima) Romans 2:3
Since we are (in the process of) receiving a Kingdom that cannot be destroyed, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a consuming fire. Heb. 12:28-29
Even non-Christians know about God: Since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. Romans 1:19Non-Christians know truths about God because he has built the knowledge into them. Ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Romans 1:19-20
Humans have known about God from the beginning of the world and although we humans knew God, we neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but humanity’s thinking became futile and our foolish hearts were darkened. Romans 1:21
Humans claimed to be wise, but became fools. Romans 1:22
Humans exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Humans began to worship idols. Romans 1:23
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. Romans 1:24
God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. Romans 11:32
Mankind exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator. God only is to be praised for man’s lifetime. Let it be. Romans 1:25
Because of this, God gave mankind over to shameful lusts. Even women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
Yes God’s wrath is now (currently on earth) being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Romans 1:18
Furthermore, since humans did not think it worth while to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. Romans 1:28
One day all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him. Psalm

One day all people will know the Lord, from the least to the greatest. Jer. 31:34
God will forgive our iniquity, and God will remember our sin no more. Jer. 31:34
Now, as a group, humans have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. Humans are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Although in our hearts we humans know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, we not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:29-32
All humans have sinned. Yes, everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. Romans 3:23
And all and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6
One day all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him. Psalm
Dominion belongs to the LORD and he rules over the nations. Psalm
One day even all the rich of the earth will feast and worship. Psalm
One day all who go down to the dust will kneel before God. Psalm
Humans would not be judged guilty if Jesus had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Anyone who hates me, Jesus says, also hates my Father. 24 If I hadn’t done such miraculous signs among them that no one else could do, they would not be guilty. But as it is, they have seen everything I did, yet they still hate me and my Father. 25 This fulfills what is written in their Scriptures: ‘They hated me without cause. John 15:22-25

God taught a great king righteousness by making him a lunatic for a ”time”. The king said: Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble. Dan.
God can humble any proud person. Dan 4:37

God gave us the law and this life on earth to prepare us for immortality with Him.
Our spirits came from Him and one day our spirits will return to God from which they came.
God created evil and has a plan.
God’s judgments are designed to teach people, harsh though they may be.
Jesus died for all, not just the elect.
God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting our sins against us.
God is the savior of all men, especially those who believe.
Yes God is the savior of believers in a distinctly greater degree than is common to the vast majority of people.
Never the less he is the savior of all man (mankind).
Thank God, He is sovereign.
He has mercy upon whom He wishes to have mercy.
And He hardens whom ever He wishes.
God hardened or strengthened Pharaoh in order to show His power; so God’s name would be declared over all the earth.
But God rescues people from sin and wrath in spite of their total depravity, by unconditionally electing them, by His irresistible Grace.
God chooses his elect before they are even born, before they do anything good or bad—in order that God's purpose in election might stand.
What is God’s purpose in election? Think about this.
What if God chooses to inflict His wrath on certain people (objects of wrath) in order to make the riches of His glory known to other people (the objects of His mercy)?
Or what if God is very patient with these people (objects of His wrath) in order to do the same thing; make the riches of his glory known to the other group (the objects of his mercy)?
I have been in both groups. At one time I was a Child of wrath; dead in sin. God’s wrath was on me. Now I am an object of mercy.
Once I was not one of His people, now He calls me one of His people. Once I was not His loved one. Now I am His loved one.
Now I am a son of the living God. The Lord said about
People are elect not by works but by Him who calls, God.
God is just? His judgments are all fair and righteous all together.
Election does not depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.
One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will? But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, why did you make me like this? Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?
Yes, God does have that right. We are clay in His hands. He commands us to choose this day who we will serve. We are not robots. We are less than robots. We are clay. And yet we are not automatons. We have choices to make. God is like a chess master in a match with a 5 year old. The five year old may have free will, but the master will win every time.
Praise God. He knew who He would save from before the foundation of the world. He has a plan and His will can not be thwarted, not even by our "free" will. We were dead in sin and trespasses; Yet He makes us alive. He causes people to be born from above. None can even seek Him unless He regenerates the individual first. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Remember we did not choose Him, He chose us. We only are able to love Him because He first loved us. Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty. God is a God of wrath, judgment, and vengeance. He righteously punishes all evil. He punishes all those who do iniquity. He even punishes wayward Christians will trials and tribulations. For our eternal God is a consuming fire. He will baptize with the Holy Spirit and eternal fire. Every one will be salted with fire. Works will be tested with eternal fire. Works done with wrong motives will be burned away from us with eternal fire. Those types of works are considered wood, hay and stubble. Works that will not be burned up by the eternal fire are considered gold, silver and precious jewels. Cities are judged with eternal fire like Sodom . God will burn the chaff from all of us. He will refine us in eternal fire as silver. The dross will be removed from each one. Everyone will be judged according to his works. Salvation however is by grace through faith. And that is not of ourselves. It is the gift of God.
Jesus came to be the atonement for the sins of the people. Jesus tasted death for everyone. The grace of God that brings salvation t has appeared to all men. Christ came into the world to save sinners. He came to seek and save the lost. Jesus is a ransom for all men. God showed mercy to Saul who was a blasphemer and murderer and the chief of sinners because Saul acted in ignorance and unbelief. God is not a respecter of persons. This means He does not show favoritism. He will do for all what he did for Saul. Christ forgives sins having cancelled the written code. Paul wanted to present everyone perfect in Christ. Jesus reconciled everything to Himself; every thing in heaven and on earth and under the earth. How? By making peace through Christ’s blood shed on the cross.
There is one God and Father of all. He is in all. Jesus will fill the whole universe. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. We are called to be free. Love your neighbor as yourself; this is the summation of the whole law of God.
As we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. We have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe. Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. All the saints send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar's household. If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching. When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas , and my scrolls, especially the parchments. For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group.
Wonderful are Your works God. We are His workmanship, created for good works in Christ. I hate those who hate God with a pure hatred. I count them as my enemies. And yet I love my enemies in the end as Jesus commands. Pray for them that use you.
God’s free will is more powerful than man’s free will. His supersedes ours. God gives generously to all without finding fault. Jesus has appeared at the end of the ages to do away with sin once for all. For who? All.
Jesus came to save his people from their sins.
All things were made by Jesus.
We are all God’s offspring. Even if He calls us the devil, like He did Peter. Even if we are the son of perdition like Judas. Even if we are twice the sons of hell, like the Pharisee’s disciple. Even if we are of our father the devil, like the scribes and Pharisees. Even if we are pagans, like the debaters on Mars Hill.
Jesus is LORD.
The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it.
All people belong to Jesus.
God is the Father of all people.
Jesus and the Father are ONE .
No one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws him.
Jesus draws all mankind to himself.
He is a ransom for all people.
God is love.
Every person will confess Jesus is Lord.
All will be made alive in Christ.
Death will be abolished.
God will wipe away tears from all faces.
God will bless all families of the earth.
God loves sinners.
God punishes those He loves.
God will have mercy on whom ever He wants to have mercy.
God will have compassion on whom ever He wishes to have compassion.
God wills that all people be saved.
God is kind to ungrateful people.
People do not have free will in all areas.
God’s judgments and punishments are designed to teach people righteousness.
God’s judgments do teach righteousness.

Yes God does have that right.
I believe, as did the majority of the early Christian church during its first four hundred years after Christ, that the essence of God's character is love. The demonstration of His love is that He has provided a plan of salvation and reconciliation for all humanity through the death on the cross of His son Jesus Christ. We believe that He will ultimately achieve His desire of reconciliation with all people.
I know that we are limited in our understanding of God and are aware of our individual shortcomings. Therefore, we cherish the liberty granted to us by God and honor the ability of each and every person to hear what God is speaking to him or her as an individual, affirming both our liberty in Christ and our accountability to each other in accordance with the Word of God.
There are a number of basic beliefs that we hold to as foundational. They are noted below.

There are a number of basic beliefs that we hold to as foundational. They are noted below.
God
There is one and only one living and true God. He is a loving, intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. He is infinite love, and from that love comes all of His characteristics including the resolve of His judgment, the justice of His total restoration, the jealous passion of his wounded love, mercy, holiness, righteousness and all other characteristics. God's love will never fail. He reveals Himself to us as father, son, and holy spirit. [1 Corinthians 13:8]

God the Father
Out of His love, God as Father powerfully and carefully covers and protects His creation. He values all people as a loving parent values a child. The universe and all it contains is in the palm of His hand. All of human history is fitted together according to His purposes. He is passionate in his determined will to restore to fellowship all of the human race through His son, Jesus Christ. [1 Timothy 2:4]
(TOP)
God the Son
Christ is the Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born as a man upon the earth of the virgin Mary and was named Jesus. Jesus was fully divine, and fully human. In His humanity, he completely identified with mankind in its sin and yet in His divinity was without sin. He took upon himself the sins of all men through His crucifixion and death upon the cross, providing for the redemption of all men from sin. He was raised from the dead and appeared to His disciples as the person who was with them before His crucifixion. He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. Upon the completion of His redemptive mission, He will return in power and glory to judge the world, returning all creation complete to God the Father so that God may be all in all. [1 Corinthians 15:28]

God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He enables men to hear the voice of God. He exalts Christ. He convicts of sin and draws all people to the Savior, effecting their regeneration. At the moment of salvation He baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ and cultivates Christian character, comforting and renewing us. He bestows the spiritual gifts by which we serve God throughout our lives. The Holy Spirit will complete His redemptive work when all men come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ whereupon everything in heaven, on earth and under the earth will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Humanity
Each person, individually, was created by God in God's own image. We are the crowning work of God's creation. In the beginning man was created without sin. Adam, the first man, sinned against God through mistrust and unbelief and brought sin into the human race. Through this transgression, Adam fell from his original innocence and became separated from God. His descendents inherit his nature inclined toward sin and remain separated from God as a result of that transgression. Paul, a New Testament writer referred to Christ as the second Adam. By this he meant that, just as Adam brought sin into the world to all people, Christ, in His ministry as the second Adam and through his one act of righteousness upon the cross, guarantees justification of all men and the reconciliation back to God. Only, but surely, by the grace of God through the work of Christ will God bring man again back into unbroken fellowship with God Himself. Just as in Adam all died, so in Christ every man will live. [Rom ; 1 Cor ]

Salvation
God has provided the provision whereby He shall restore man to the perfect state of relationship with God that existed prior to the fall of man in Adam. It is offered to all and will be effectual someday in all men as they come to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His blood took upon himself the penalty for the sins of all men and sealed their eternal redemption, a ransom for all to be testified in due time. Salvation includes regeneration, sanctification, and glorification thereby providing for the total reconciliation of man to a perfect and redeemed state. It is a primary mission of the church to encourage all people to participate in this glorious salvation during their lifetimes. [2 Cor. 6:2; 1 Tim 2:4; 1 Tim 4:10; 1 Tim 2:6]

Biblical Scripture
The Scripture was recorded by men both before and shortly after the time of Christ. It is divinely inspired and serves as the record of God's revelation of Himself to humanity. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It was authored by God to reveal His plan for the salvation and reconciliation of all humanity to Himself. It is true and inerrant as interpreted through the person and work of Jesus Christ who Himself is the revealed Word of God.

The Church
A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of believers who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel. This church is an autonomous body, operating under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In such a congregation, members are equally positioned to hear God's Word. The local church body is but a small expression of the larger church. The church has been given the ministry of God. The church is the firstborn or first fruits of the family of God. They have died with Christ and accepted Him as Lord during their lifetime. As joint heirs with Christ the church will rule in mercy and ministry as priests with Christ to aid in bringing unredeemed humanity to its intended destiny of restoration. This unredeemed humanity would be those who have died without believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior. This anointed ministry of the church with Christ will be completed when all humanity will have come through the second death and accepted Christ as Lord. At that time the impartation of the life of Christ will be realized by all. After the destruction of principalities, powers and the last enemy which is death, then Christ will have completed the total reconciliation of all. Then He will Himself be made subject to the Father and God will be all in all. God is the Savior of all, first to those that believe. Baptism and the Lord's Supper
Christian baptism is an act of identification symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead.
The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of faith. Through partaking of the bread representing his broken body and the fruit of the vine that represents His spilled blood. Through this act, we celebrate His great love for us as expressed in His death upon the cross and accept afresh His loving work being accomplished in our lives.

Christian Living
Christ came that we might have life and have it abundantly. He came to free us from the impossibly heavy weight of performing the law and the responsibility of achieving righteousness through our own will and human effort. The Christian life is the process of yielding to the gentle work of Christ, which brings rest and peace and joy to our lives. [Galatians 5:1; Romans 8:2; Philippians 2:13; Galations 3:3; John 15:10-11; Colossians 3:15; Matthew 11:28]

Justice, God's Judgment, and Punishment
In the beginning, God's creation, including His relationship with man, the crowning work of His creation, was pure and sinless. Through the work of Satan, this creation was destroyed and effectively stolen from Him upon the fall of Adam. God will achieve His perfect justice only upon the return of His creation to its original state, a state where all things stolen from Him, including man have been totally restored.
Few are those that will be restored to God by believing in Jesus during their lifetimes. They come through the baptism of the refining fire of God's judgment, his remedial pruning and corrective discipline before they die. These people are called the church and will be a part of the first resurrection with Christ. The purifying fire of God at work in the church is not literal but spiritual. Accordingly, the purifying fires of God at work in the remainder of humanity after they die are spiritual as well. The rest of humanity will come through this process of refining until the consuming fire of God's love has reached its purpose in their lives and has removed everything that is not of God. This fire will consume the dross of all evil and leave all men humble, repentant, and finding their place in the divine order of God (para. Talbot, The Inescapable Love of God). For everyone will return to God but in their own order. When these ages of time have been completed all will finally believe and worship Jesus as their Lord and Savior. God's justice will have been achieved, when every creature, in heaven and upon the earth and under the earth and on the sea and all that is in them will sing "To Him who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power for ever and ever." [Matthew 7:14; Romans 6:3; Matthew 3:11; John 15:3; Hebrews 12:7-11; Hebrews 12:29; Malachi 3:2-3; 1 Corinthians 15:23;Jude 7-Ezekiel 16:53-55; Matthew 8:12; 1 Corinthians 3:13-15; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:14; Revelation 21:8; Philippians 2:10; Isaiah 45:22-23; Revelation 5:13; Romans 14:11]
(TOP)Last Things
God, when the times have reached their fulfillment, will bring all things in heaven and earth together under one head, even Christ. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth; the dead will be raised; Christ will judge all men in righteousness delivering them blameless to God the Father with whom they will dwell forever; Christ will reign until the very last enemy, which is death itself, is defeated and subject to Him, whereupon the redemptive mission of His reign will be complete and all will be delivered back to God the Father. Satan had stolen all of humanity and creation from God. Now the justice of God has finally been completed for He has reconciled and restored all things back to Himself. "Punishment is for the sake of amendment and atonement. God is bound by his love to punish sin in order to deliver his creature; he is bound by his justice to destroy sin in his creation. Love is justice-"
George McDonald, "Sermon: Justice"
"I believe that justice and mercy are simply one and the same thing; without justice to the full there can be no mercy, and without mercy to the full there can be no justice."
George McDonald, "Sermon: Justice"
"It is not that the fire will burn us if we do not worship thus; but that the fire will burn us until we worship thus; yea, will go on burning within us after all that is foreign to it has yielded to its force, no longer with pain and consuming, but as the highest consciousness of life, the presence of God."
George McDonald, "Sermon: The Consuming Fire"
"We cannot conceive of a Creator who knows the end from the beginning, one who is Love, who has infinite wisdom, and infinite power, giving to any being life, life which is never to end, but to continue in suffering to all eternity. The Bible does not teach it anywhere in the original languages. God's punishments are remedial and take place within the span of the ages during which he is accomplishing the making of man in His image and likeness. Punishment will last no longer than is necessary to bring man to hate his sin and be reconciled to his Saviour."
G. Campbell Morgan Pastor, "Sermon: The cross and the ages to come" , Westminster Chapel, London
"When a baser metal is mixed with gold, refiners restore the more precious metal to its natural brightness by consuming the alien and worthless substance with fire…In the same way, when death, corruption, darkness, and other offshoots of vice have attached themselves to the author of evil, contact with the divine power acts like fire and effects the disappearance of what is contrary to nature. In this way the nature is purified and benefited, even though the process of separation is a painful one."
St. Gregory of Nyssa "De anima et resurrectione", 375
"The only victory love can enjoy is the day when its offer of love is answered by the return of love. The only possible final triumph is a universe loved by God and in love with God."
William Barclay
"God will have all men to be saved. This truth is a supernatural mystery. It can only be understood by a spiritual mind through the teaching of the Holy Spirit."
Andrew Murray, "God's Will: Our

"Under the instruction of those great teachers many other theologians believed in universal salvation; and indeed the whole Eastern Church until after 500 A.D. was inclined to it."

"If I were Christ, nothing couild satisfy me but that every human being should in the end be saved, and therefore I am sure that nothing less will satisfy Him."
Hannah Whitehall Smith, 1870
"Clarence Jordan, in a sermon on the parable of the woman seeking the lost coin (Luke 15:8), asks, 'What does she do? She gets a broom. She sweeps and sweeps and sweeps. She lights a lamp and sweeps until what? Until she wore the broom out? No. Until the lamp went out? No. Until her husband came home and said, 'Hey, get my supper, what are you doing with that broom?' No. How long did she sweep? Until she found it. How long was that? As long as necessary.'"
Clarence Jordan, Author: "The Cottonpatch Gospel", "The Substance of Faith (New York: Association Press, 1972), 148.
If we really believe in one God and in the Jesus Christ, in what He was and what He did, truly shows us what God's character and His attitude toward men are like, then it is very difficult to think ourselves out of a belief that somehow His love will find a way of bringing all men into unity with Him.
C.H. Dodd
-- on the subject of hell as everlasting punishment for our sins: "I find that most people accept or even assume this view as being the orthodox view of the church, being largely unaware that this view has been questioned and rejected by many devout Christian interpreters of the faith."

"He saves all, but converting some by punishment, and others who follow by their own will-that every knee may bend to Him, of things in heaven and earth and under the earth."

Of John in the "Speaker's Commentary": "(tap anta) all men: The phrase must not be limited in any way. It connot mean merely 'Gentiles as well as Jews,' or 'the elect,' or 'all who believe.' We must receive it as it stands (Rom. ;; 2 Cor. ; Eph. ; 1 Tim. 2:6; Heb. 2:9; 1 John 2:2). The remarkable reading 'all things' (omnia) points to a still wider application of Redemption (Col. 1:20)."

The spirit of man will return to the God Who gave it? Ecc 12:7
Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Jesus is the Savior of the world. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Every tongue will praise God. All families will be blessed in Jesus. All nations will be blessed in Him. Jesus will draw all mankind to himself. Where sin abounds grace abounds much more. God is not willing that any should be perishing, but that all should come to repentance. The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. Just as all people died in Adam, all people will be made alive in Christ. God will be all in all. In the dispensation of the fullness of the times God will gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth. God, by Jesus will reconcile all things to Himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. Jesus tasted death for everyone. Jesus makes intersession for us. God’s counsel shall stand, and He will do all His pleasure. God’s will, shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. His will can not be thwarted. Jesus is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Jesus was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil. Yes, the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. God has sworn by Himself: “the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, that to me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance. Death and Hades will be cast into the Lake of Fire . Death shall be swallowed up in victory. God will wipe away every tear. There is coming a time when there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. At that time He who sits upon the throne will say, "Behold, I make all things new." At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. God our Savior, desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, this will be made evident in due time. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, all being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. God sent Jesus as propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness. God is the Savior of all men especially of those who believe. Christ died once for all. To God all flesh will come. All the earth shall worship God and sing praises to Him; they shall sing praises to His name. Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; all nations shall serve Him. All Gentiles SHALL worship God! The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. He will swallow up death forever and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. God has spoken through the mouths of all His holy prophets since the world began about the times of restoration of all things. By the offense of one (Adam) judgment came upon all men to condemnation; in like manner by the righteousness of one (Jesus) the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. God has committed all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all. The creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. God is able to subdue all things to Himself. He is able to humble all the proud. God shall, by Jesus, reconcile all things to Himself. Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for all. God will chasten those whom He loves. With the eternal fire used on Sodom He will chasten. And after they have been punished by the eternal fire, as the fortunes of Sodom will be restored, the punishment inflicted will yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Eventually all people will praise God. Yes, the furnace of God’s judgment fire is painful. No chastening seems to be joyful for the present but the eternal Lord our God is a consuming fire. All people will be salted with fire. Some will be given many lashes of God’s wrath; some will receive few. The chaff of each one will be burned away as the dross from silver when the children of the kingdom are cast into the dark fire of pain, (the outer darkness). The chastening of God is torment to those as they go through it, day and night unto the ages of the ages with no relief until all tears will be wiped from all faces and God reconciles all things and the second death (the lake of fire) is abolished. All families of all nations will be blessed in Abraham’s seed, Christ Jesus. Yes, the last enemy to be abolished is death. God will be all in all. All will be made alive in Christ. Yes the sheep and the goats will be separated. The sheep will enter LIFE of the eternal God and the goats shall receive chastisement from the eternal God until the unquenchable fire has purified the dross from the silver.
Yes, the devil will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and, yes, he shall be tormented day and night unto the ages of the ages. God’s judgments teach righteousness. Yes, the everlasting unquenchable fire was prepared for the devil and his angels. Yes, the cursed of mankind will also depart into the eternal fire away from the fellowship of God. There will be outer darkness, and weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. It will be like a furnace of fire burning up evil, destroying the works of the devil. Shame, contempt and torment will be experienced there. While we were yet sinners, Jesus died for the sins of the world. While we were dead in trespasses and sin he rescued us.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Jesus took on Himself the iniquity of us all. One day every tongue praise God. The Lord God says: I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die. The Lord is not willing that any should continue perishing, but that all should come to repentance. The prodigal son was perished (lost) but his father forgave him. God loves you so much that the Creator of this universe (Jesus Christ) came to "taste death" for every man. Jesus wasn't just some baby for a manger scene. He is God come in the flesh to destroy the power of death and hell--He holds the keys, people! If you say yes to Jesus, hell won't be your final destination. If you say no to Jesus, hell will be your home unto the ages of the ages until the unquenchable, eternal has consumed all pride and sin. Our God is a consuming fire. The smoke of their torment ascendeth up unto the ages of the ages. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life...And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. One day however all will be made alive in Christ. One day all will know God from the least to the greatest. One day every one will praise God. One day God will restore all things. All tears will be wiped from all faces. Yes, The Lord preserves all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy. Even so: The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy. The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works. His greatness is unsearchable. The LORD, and greatly to be praised. All Your works shall praise You, O LORD. We are His workmanship. The LORD upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down. The Lord satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works. The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD. And all flesh shall bless His holy name to the distant horizon and again. Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Fear him, which AFTER he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. If thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Salvation is of the Lord. Salvation is by grace through faith. Faith is the gift of God, therefore no one can boast. No one seeks God and yet God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He causes us to seek Him. No one is righteous, no, not one. And yet he makes us into the righteousness of Christ. The cursed shall away into age lasting correction given by the eternal God (who is Himself a consuming fire). They shall be punished with eonian destruction from being in the presence of the Lord, and from being in the presence of the glory of his power. Surely the Lord will slay the wicked. But, if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? And am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. Jesus says love thy enemies and pray for them. Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way unto the distant horizon and again. Remove me from the belly of hell and into the place prepared for the righteous, into You Lord, life eternal.
Remove me from the belly of hell and into the place prepared for the righteous, into You Lord, life eternal.
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be abhorring unto all flesh. Crooked things can not be straightened and yet with God all things are possible. Ask and it will be given. Knock and the door shall be opened unto you.
The Son of man (Jesus) shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; (none is righteous, no not one) and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Yes, all people will be salted with fire. 17, The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. And yet all nations shall be blessed in Jesus the seed of Abraham. All families of the earth shall be blessed. All will praise the Lord. Every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.
Yes, many that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to life, and some to shame and contempt to the distant horizon and again. In Hades one will lift up his eyes, being in torments (tormented in this flame), and see Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Have mercy. Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And there is a great gulf fixed no one can cross. Christ suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring them to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit, in the spirit He went and made a proclamation to the spirits in prison, who in former times did not obey. Jesus has the keys of Hell and death. Jesus is victorious over the grave. He is the Savior of the world. All will be made alive in Christ. Jesus humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death-- even death on a cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Everyone who calls on the name of the lord shall be saved. Jonah cried out from the belly of Hell and God got him out. If one makes their bed in Hell, God’s hand is there to lead. God delivers from Hell. God’s mercy triumphs over His judgment. God does not cast off men forever. God’s judgments teach righteousness. But they will have to give an accounting to him who stands ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is the reason the gospel was proclaimed even to the dead, so that, though they had been judged in the flesh as everyone is judged, they might live in the spirit as God does. All will be made alive in Christ. Jesus is able to save to the uttermost. His grace will be shown in the ages to come. Creation will be set at liberty. The Lord is full of mercy. All nations worship when God’s judgments are seen. Jesus will fill all things. Every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, will say: Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, unto the ages of the ages. God will be all in all. All things will be made new. Jesus is the heir of all things. And Jesus gives life to all that His Father gave Him. The Father gave Him all things. God’s enemies will submit to God. God turns man to destruction, then says return. God will destroy the veil spread over all nations. God kills and makes alive again. God fashions all hearts. Man devises his plans, God directs his steps. Man devises, but God’s counsel stands. God will not cast off forever. All nations shall flow to the Lord’s house. All nations will worship Him. All descendants of Israel will be justified. All kings will praise God. All flesh will come to God. Nothing is too difficult for God. All ends of the earth will turn to Him For what purpose? All families will worship before Him Praise His name!He is good to all Including your worst enemies. His mercies are over all his works. He raises all who fall. All His works will praise Him. Lord makes a feast for all people. Never entered His mind to eternally torture his children with fire. No one can come to Him unless He draws them You can’t "chose" to follow Him. I will draw all mankind unto Myself, Jesus said. God does what pleases Him.
The Lake of Fire that burns with Brimstone / Sulfur
What is Brimstone? Brimstone is just an old word for sulfur.
The Greek word for brimstone (sulfur) is “THEIOS”. The Greek word for “God” is “THEOS”. Theses two Greek words are pronounced the same way. nothing less than the healing presence of God Himself. It might be dreadful to go thru that cleansing process, but eventually, they will be pulled into the circle of the friends of God. "Every knee will (reverently) bow and every tongue will (wholeheartedly) confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."
1) brimstone
a) divine incense, because burning brimstone was regarded as having power to purify, and to ward off disease
Tested in the lake of fire and divine incense.
OR
Tormented in the LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE.
Narrow is the way that leads to LIFE (zoe’) Few there be that find it.
But what is LIFE (zoe)?
ZOE’: The state of one who is possessed of vitality or is animate, the absolute fullness of life. Life which belongs to God. Life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous, devoted to God, blessed. The God KIND of LIFE .
Since it is difficult to FIND this type of life on our own, someone must show us the way.
That is why we make disciples of all nations, teaching people every thing that Jesus taught.
To help people enter the reign of God. (The Kingdom of God / Abundant Life.)
Entering LIFE (zoe) is not defined as “going to heaven when you die”.
Age-Lasting “God Life” starts when the Holy Wind (Spirit) of God blows into your life and gives you new life.
This is called being “Born of the Spirit” or “Born from Above” or “Born Again”.
No one can enter the
Flesh (water) gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. John 3:6
The wind (Holy Spirit) blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." John 3:8
Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man (Jesus) must be lifted up, (crucified) that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life (
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish (apollumi) but have eternal life (aionian zoe). John :
Whoever is believing in Jesus and his teachings shall see and enter
Whenever you see Jesus use a word such as “perish” or “destroy,” the original word is “apollumi.” The Greek word “apollumi” means to “to lose, or to be lost.” It is the same word Jesus used when He said:
"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel " (Matthew ).
God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save (sozo) the world through him. John 3:17SOZO means:
To save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction, injury or peril. To save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health, to preserve.
Whoever believes (pisteuo) in Jesus is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already; this is the verdict. John 3:18
Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. John 3:19-20
Men are terrified that their evil deeds will be exposed and so they HATE the light of God’s truth and they run away and won’t come to the light. They are afraid. They may be severely punished. They push the truth of God out of their minds and believe lies that comfort them in the short run but not in the long run.
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. No is righteous. No not one. No one even seeks God on their own unless God causes them to.
God commands us to seek first the
God MUST give us the FAITH to believe in HIM.
Remember we did not choose HIM, He chose us.
No one is righteous, no not one.
When the
Then they (we) can start to live in God’s truth.
Whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God. John 3: 21
It is all by the grace of GOD. Not of works, lest any man should BOAST.
Salvation is from start to finish a gracious work of GOD.
Is God unjust? Not at all! GOD SAYS: "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. Rom 9:14-16
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. Rom 9:14-16
Jesus said He would DRAW (drag / HELKUO in Greek) all mankind to HIMSELF.
John 12:32
No man can come to me (Jesus sad), except the Father which hath sent me draw him.
Jesus said: I and my Father are ONE . So if Jesus is drawing then the FATHER is drawing.
The Father does ALL the drawing, but does it THROUGH Christ.
Jesus Christ is the IMAGE of the invisible God.
The Father draws us to HIMSELF through Christ.
Christ is the mediator - "the way, the truth and the Life.
Jesus said: No man can come to the Father except through me." John 14:6
The Lord’s FURY will be shown to his foes. See, the Lord is coming with fire……He will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For with fire and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment upon all men, and many will be those slain by the Lord…They will see my glory…All mankind will come and bow down before me: says the Lord. And they will go out and look upon the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, (kabah) and they will be loathsome to all mankind. Is. 66

Jesus tells us to lay up treasure in Heaven - Matthew 6:20-21
Matthew implies many will be in Heaven just not immediately upon death.
Philippians says our citizenship is in Heaven
Colossians says our hope is in Heaven
1 Peter 1:4 and Hebrews 10:34 say we have inheritance and possession in Heaven
Revelation 11:9-12 speaks of two men being taken into Heaven 3 1/2 days after they died
Jeremiah 16:4; 19:7 and 34:20 almost certainly imply that at least parts of certain people were carried up to up to the heavens shortly after death
